Winner of six varsity letters in track & field and cross country, Neil Moore achieved All-America statius at the 1978 and 1980 NCAA Track & Field championship meets in the 800 meters. He graduated as the record holder at Fredonia State in the 800 with a time of 1:50.26. In 1979, Mr. Moore qualified for the SUNYAC Cross Country Hall of Fame. During his senior year, he was selected as a 1980 SUNYAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was named as the Joseph N. Keyser Award winner as Fredonia State's outstanding male scholar-athlete for 1979-80. Holder of a bachelor's degree from Fredonia State and a master's degree from the University of Oregon, Mr. Moore was working as an associate chemist for Glaxo Inc. in Zebulon, N.C., at the time of his induction.
