Hall of Fame
The following information was taken from the Hall of Fame program published at the time of induction. Some editing was required:
A four-year starter and letter-winner at the forward position, Deborah Pike Glines was the holder of numerous women's basketball records at Fredonia State. The first 1,000-point scorer in the women's program, Ms. Glines held the Fredonia State career scoring title through the 1993-94 season with 1,110 points. She held the college record for points in one season (471) and was second for points in a game (30), rebounds in a season (307), and career rebounds (707). An all-conference performer, Ms. Glines led the SUNYAC in scoring her senior year with a 21.5 point per average (301 points in 14 games). That year she was also named to the ECAC honor roll four consecutive weeks and ended the season ranked 13th nationally in rebounding. An honor student named three times to the President's List, Ms. Glines graduated cum laude in Elementary Education. She was a teacher and coach in Wheeling, W. Va., at the time of her induction in 1995.
