His senior season, Basile was the top hitter in the SUNYAC posting a .420 batting average. He also set school single-season marks for hits (63), runs (47), and at bats (150). His 20 stolen bases led the team. The team set a school mark with 26 wins that year, and played host to the ECAC Tournament after earning the No. 1 seed.

He holds career marks in hits (158) and runs (106) and ranks fourth with a career .377 batting average. He never batted below .345 in any of his four seasons. He also ranks second with 119 games played, and third with 33 stolen bases. Basile earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2009.
