Payton Gilbert and
Antoine St. Onge were name Fredonia State Female and Male Athletes of the Week on Monday. Both led their teams to 1-1 weeks in conference play.
Gilbert averaged 15.5 points and 6.0 rebounds. In a win over Buffalo State, she poured in 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. She currently leads the SUNYAC with a 53.4 field-goal percentages.
St. Onge struck twice in a 6-4 win over Canton as the men''s hockey team claimed its first win of the season on Friday. He leads the team with four goals.

- Martin Garza averaged a double-double with 18.0 ppg and 10.0 rpg. He went for 13 and 7 at Cortland, then scored 23 points and had 13 rebounds vs. Buffalo State. Garza currently ranks fourth in the SUNYAC at 15.6 ppg.
