FREDONIA, N.Y. --

Grace Alexander added 13 points and
Jayssa Snelick continued to be a force on the boards with 11 rebounds while contributing 11 points for her third double-double of the year.
The Devils improve to 9-5 overall and 4-3 in the SUNYAC. Oneonta is now 8-6 and 3-4 in the conference.
Oneonta took a 9-5 lead in the opening minutes, but the Devils closed the first quarter on a 13-4 run, with Stackhouse providing nine points. They led 18-13 after one.
The Devils would keep the lead the rest of the way, but never led by double digits against the pesky Red Dragons until the fourth quarter.
Oneonta used back-to-back field goals to open up the fourth to pull within six points, 45-39. Alexander and Snelick said "not so fast" and both nailed threes on the two ensuing possessions to give the Devils a double-digit lead. Solid defense sealed the game for the Devils.
Carlie Young led Oneonta with 15 points, seven rebounds, and three steals. They were hampered by 3-26 shooting from three-point land and shot 30 percent from the floor for the game.
The Devils made 15-20 free throws and 6-18 threes, while outrebounding the Red Dragons, 40-35.
The Devils are back in action in Dods Hall on Tuesday for the third game of their six-game homestand when they take on Cortland in a women's/men's doubleheader.
