FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State baseball team will open its season with a trip to Westminster College on Feb. 28th prior to heading south for its annual spring trip the second week of March. The Devils are slated to travel to conference foe New Paltz at the back end of Spring Break.
The home opener is a doubleheader on March 23 vs. the Hawks of Hilbert College. Other non-conference foes are Keuka, Geneva, Hobart, Pitt-Bradford, and a home-and-home series with Penn State Behrend.
In addition to New Paltz, the Devils have road conference series at Cortland and Canton. Home SUNYAC series are Plattsburgh, Oneonta, and Oswego. SUNYAC series are three-games over two days.
The conference tournament begins on May 1 with a new format. The No. 1 and No. 4 seeds, and the Nos. 2 and 3 seeds, play the best-of-three over the weekend. The two winning teams advance to another best-of-three series the following weekend beginning May 8.
