BOXSCORE FREDONIA, N.Y. --- Fredonia State Men's Hockey Team losses their third straight game of the season to SUNYAC opponent, Plattsburgh State, with a score of 13-1. The Blue Devils' lone goal scorer of the game was Parker Brakebill.

The first period was dominated by Plattsburgh State, as they scored 4 straight unanswered goals to start the period. Fredonia State was able to find the scoreboard only once in the period, with a goal from Brakebill that was assisted by Andrew Keith and Jake Blackwell. This goal brought the deficit to 4-1, but was quickly brought to 5-1 after another goal from the Cardinals offense. 

Fredonia State was outshot 14 to 7 after the first period.

The second period was much of the same on the offensive side of the ice. Fredonia State was unable to find the back of the net on any of their scoring opportunities. On the defensive side of the ice, the Devils were able to make an improvement from the first period. However, the Cardinals were able to find the back of the net twice before the period came to an end. At the end of the second period, Plattsburgh State held a commanding 7-1 lead.

Fredonia State was outshot 21 to 7 in the second period.

In the third period, the game unfortunately continued downward for the Blue Devils. Plattsburgh State scored 6 unanswered goals, leading to a final score of 13-1. By the end of the end game Fredonia State was outshot 58-24.

Fredonia State Men's Hockey Team looks to end their losing streak against SUNY Geneseo, on Febuary 11th.
