FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State hockey team is pleased to announce that Friday, Feb. 19, 2027 will be this year's "Pink the Rink" game. That evening, the Blue Devils will take on Oswego. The action will begin at 7:00 PM in Steele Hall Ice Arena.
This will be the eighteenth year for the "Pink the Rink" game as the Blue Devils will don their pink jerseys and socks for the event. Once again, the authentic game-worn jerseys will be for sale with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. The 2027 edition again will feature every name that has been on the back of a jersey sublimated into the jersey, which looks amazing.
This season, the team is offering the same, popular way for the jerseys to be purchased. Here's how it will work:
For the cost of $250, you can purchase the jersey. Once you make arrangements to buy the jersey, you will now be able to have the last name of a loved one printed on the back of the jersey. This generous tribute to a loved one will now be seen by all in attendance at the game. In other words, instead of the player having their name on the back of the jersey, there will be names of the donators' loved ones on the back of the jersey.
It will be an inspirational evening and we are excited about joining in the fight against breast cancer.
