FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Home-and-home series against St. John Fisher and Chatham, Hockey Alumni Weekend in December, and a regular-season-ending weekend against Oswego and defending SUNYAC champion Hobart highlight the 2026-27 Fredonia State men's ice hockey schedule.
The Blue Devils will open with a pair of exhibition contests, traveling to Brockport on Oct. 17 before hosting Buffalo State on Oct. 24 at Steele Hall.
Fredonia begins the regular season with a home-and-home series against St. John Fisher, playing Oct. 30 in Brighton and Oct. 31 at home. Another home-and-home series follows the next weekend against Chatham, with games Nov. 6 in Pittsburgh and Nov. 7 in Fredonia.
SUNYAC play begins Nov. 13 when the Blue Devils host Morrisville. Fredonia remains home the following day against Cortland before traveling to Buffalo State on Nov. 20.
After road games at Plattsburgh and Skidmore on Dec. 4 and 5, the Blue Devils return to Steele Hall for Hockey Alumni Weekend. Fredonia hosts Brockport on Dec. 11 and Geneseo on Dec. 12 in its final games before the holiday break.
The second semester opens Jan. 8 and 9 with home games against Canton and Potsdam before the Blue Devils hit the road to face defending SUNYAC champion Hobart on Jan. 15 and Oswego on Jan. 16. Fredonia returns home Jan. 22 against Buffalo State before traveling to Brockport on Jan. 26.
The final month of the regular season begins with road games at Cortland and Morrisville on Jan. 29 and 30. The Blue Devils then host Skidmore and Plattsburgh on Feb. 5 and 6 before closing out their road schedule at Potsdam and Canton on Feb. 12 and 13.
Fredonia concludes the regular season with home games against Oswego on Feb. 19 and Hobart on Feb. 20. The Feb. 19 contest will serve as the Blue Devils' annual Pink the Rink game.
The SUNYAC Tournament is scheduled to begin with quarterfinal games on Feb. 24. Semifinals are slated for Feb. 27, with the championship game set for March 6.
