Kendall Phillips goes back-to-back weeks, and
Camiren Collins wins for the second time this year.
Phillips appeared in three games without allowing a run. She spun an 8-0, five-inning win against a solid Geneseo squad. She then cooled off a red-hot Buffalo State team, shutting down the Bengals for eight innings before her team supplied her with the only run of the game in a 1-0 victory. She appeared in relief in Game 2, pitching 1 2/3 innings of scoreless play. For the week, she completed 14 2/3 innings, allowed seven hits, struck out 16 and did not allow a single run for a nifty 0.00 ERA.
Collins finished in second place in a field of 64 sprinters in the 200m dash in a PR time of 22.24 seconds at St. John Fisher on Saturday. He also set a PR in the 400m in 50.29 seconds.
