BOXSCORE NEW PALTZ, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State blue devils men's soccer team lost in their season finale on the road at New Paltz by a final score of 3-0. "Today's game was indicative of many for us in SUNYAC play", noted head coach PJ Gondek. "We performed well in possession of the ball but just could not find a goal."

To start the game, New Paltz would take a early lead with Gabriel Cruz scoring in the games opening three minutes. Philip Varner & Alex Wyant would each score for the hawks in the second half to finish the shutout.

The devils would finish the game with seven shots with three on goal but unfortunately could not connect. Goalie Kyle Pezzulo would finish the night with 5 saves.

The devils will now enter the offseason and will return to the pitch next fall. "We will miss our seniors and what they have given over the years", added Gondek "We won't waste too much time in getting back to work as we prepare for 2024".
