FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The visiting Allegheny Gators dropped Fredonia by a score of 14-5 in college baseball action on Wednesday.

Tyler Phillips and Patrick Bigham led the Devils with three hits apiece. Russell Mistretta added a pair of safeties, and Kevin Yirinec arrived just in time from class to drive in a pair of runs.

William Clifford took the loss on the mound giving up two runs in two innings. Kenneth Ynoa was the only one of six Devil hurlers not to give up a run, going 1 1/3 scoreless innings.

Allegheny improved to 11-11, while the Devils fell to 9-14. Fredonia is slated to take on Brockport at home in a three-game set this weekend.
