2020: Phillips appeared in four games in the shortened 2020 season and batted .500 in 16 at-bats and led the team in stolen bases with five, and a tie for the team high in doubles with three.

2019: Led the Devils with a .367 average and 14 stolen bases ... gunned down a runner at home plate in the 9th inning of a 0-0 game in the SUNYAC Tournament to send it into extra innings.

Before Fredonia: Played baseball, football, and basketball at Cleveland Hill H.S. ... baseball coach was Jason Pryzbyz ... member of the WNY Prospects travel program ... previously attended Niagara County Community College.

Personal: Full name is Tyler Jerome Phillips ... brother Aaron is a pitcher in the San Francisco Giants organization ... also brothers to Zachary and Cameron ... son of Kristin and Jerome Phillips.
