FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Brockport dealt Fredonia State a 7-0 women's tennis loss Saturday afternoon on the Steele Hall Courts. It was the first regular-season home event of the 2026-27 Blue Devils' athletic year.
First singles player
Lucy Prevet fell 2-1 to Brockport's Cara Vasile 6-4, 2-6, and 7-3 in the third-set tiebreaker. Prevet was the only Blue Devil to win a set.
"We fought hard," Fredonia State Head Coach Jane Gens said about her team. "But we need to learn how to win now."
That next opportunity comes Tuesday afternoon when the Blue Devils play host to Houghton.
