FREDONIA, N.Y. – The Fredonia State women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 SUNYAC non-conference match to Penn State Behrend on Wednesday afternoon at the Steele Hall Courts.

Amelia Stathatos turned in Fredonia State's most competitive singles performance of the day. Competing at sixth singles, she battled Abby Markiewicz through three sets before falling 6-4, 5-7, 10-7 in a super tiebreak.

The Blue Devils will return to play with a pair of SUNYAC matches this weekend at Oneonta and Delhi.
