POTSDAM, N.Y. -- Potsdam's Jeremy Quesnel scored less than two minutes into the game as the Bears held on for a 1-0 win over the Fredonia State men's hockey team on Saturday.
The Devils' Charles-Anthony Brabeau made 26 saves while allowing one score, and Potsdam's Lenny Perno stopped all 32 shots that came his way.
The Devils had two of their four power plays in the third period, but could not convert. Both teams were 0-for-4 on the power play.
Potsdam improves to 7-7 overall and 4-3 in the SUNYAC, while the Devils fall to 1-10-1 and, 1-5-1 in the conference.
The Devils play host to Hobart next Friday.
