ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's lacrosse team dropped a 20-6 contest at Oneonta on Saturday. The Devils got two goals apiece from Emma Cockerel and Sydney Buchko. Megan Karalus and Mieley Baran also added scores.

Things looked good for the Blue Devils in the early going, as they jumped out to a 3-1 lead. Unfortunately, the Dragons would rally to score thirteen of the next fourteen goals, taking 14-4 lead. 

Ashleigh Manns made nine saves in goal for Fredonia State. Margot Hering and Julia Hawkins would combine for five saves for Oneonta. Cassidy Moore had five goals and five assists for the Dragons.

The Devils (8-8/3-5 SUNYAC) wrap up the season with a conference contest at Morrisville on Wednesday. A win and the Devils clinch a berth in the SUNYAC Tournament. They would also clinch with a Canton loss at Cortland.
