NEWPORT NEWS, VA. -- The Fredonia State women's track and field team traveled to Christopher Newport University this past weekend. The Devils enjoyed the milder temperatures and had some strong results.

Here is a look at the athletes that finished in the Top 10:
- Calie Hudson was second in the 3000m steeplechase in 11:50.00
- the 4x400 relay team was third in 4:30.09 (Vanessa Ryhal, Evelyn Zdrojewski, Amilcar Centeno, and Hazel Bache) 
- Hazel Bache was fourth in the 400m hurdles in 1:19.04
- Brayton Tripi was fifth in the high jump at 1.48m
- Cara Pellechia was fifth in the 100m
- Allison Bartoszek was seventh in the 100m hurdles in 17.79s
- Kira Davidson finished seventh in the triple jump in 9.66m (31' 08.5''), and Allison Bartoszek cleared 9.13m (29' 11.5'') for eighth place
- Skylar French was seventh in the javelin at 16.58m
