DAVENPORT, Fla. --  Michael Byrns tossed 6 2/3 innings and struck out 12 batters in a 9-3 win over the Knox Prairie Fire on Saturday. He gave up one hit and allowed two walks in improving his record to 2-0 this Spring.

Christian Brown tossed the final 2 1/3 innings.

Offensively, Christain Cabrera had four hits and two RBI. AJ Roach made his season debut with a homerun and a triple, plus some stellar defense.  Domenic Hickok was 2-2 with a double, walk and HBP. Christian Pagano added two hits.

In the second game, the Devils could not get the offense going in a 7-0 loss to Carleton. The Devils were limited to five hits in the nine-inning game. Hickok had his second double of the day.
