DAVENPORT, Fla. --
Michael Byrns tossed 6 2/3 innings and struck out 12 batters in a 9-3 win over the Knox Prairie Fire on Saturday. He gave up one hit and allowed two walks in improving his record to 2-0 this Spring.
Christian Brown tossed the final 2 1/3 innings.
Offensively, Christain Cabrera had four hits and two RBI.
AJ Roach made his season debut with a homerun and a triple, plus some stellar defense.
Domenic Hickok was 2-2 with a double, walk and HBP.
Christian Pagano added two hits.
In the second game, the Devils could not get the offense going in a 7-0 loss to Carleton. The Devils were limited to five hits in the nine-inning game. Hickok had his second double of the day.
The Devils finish the Spring Trip to Central Florida with a 6-4 record, and now stand at 7-4 overall. They are slated to travel to Oswego to open play with a three-game set next weekend.
