FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State hockey team came back from a 4-0 deficit to make a game of it, but would eventually fall, 5-4, to Oswego on Friday.
Luke Morris scored twice in the final 2:20 of play, however the Devils could not push across another score despite pulling the goalie.
The game was also the annual Pink the Rink contest played in from of a near-capacity crowd.

Ryan Bailey and
Xavier Fortin both scored power play goals for the Devils. One of Morris' goals was a power play as the Devils went 3-for-3 with a man advantage.
Oswego got the scoring going early, with a pair of goals over the first 10:06 of play. Cam Symons and Drake Semrad both scored for the Lakers. They tacked on a third goal late in the first on a power play by Nico Laone.
The Lakers upped it to 4-0 at 3:28 into the second.
The Devils then battled back with a pair of power play goals three minutes apart. At 9:02 Bailey got the Devils on the board. At the 12:00 mark, Fortin made it a 4-2 game.
Josh Simpson put the Lakers up 5-2 with a score 2:37 into the third period. Morris would then drive home a pair of scores less than a minute apart, the second one coming with 1:27 left to play.

Charles-Anthony Barbeau made 50 saves for the game. Brandon Milburg had 20 for the Lakers, who improve to 8-2-1 in conference play, and 12-6-3 overall.
The Devils (5-5 SUNYAC / 7-14 overall) wrap up the home portion of their regular-season schedule with a 7 p.m. game vs. Canton on Saturday.
