Alexys Neckers of the women's basketball team and Branbdon Kulakowski of the men's team were named Fredonia State Female and Male Athletes of the Week on Monday.

Neckers averaged 10.3 points per game in three contests for the week. The freshman from Clymer, N.Y. tied her season high of 16 points vs. Oswego. She also went 8-14 from three-point range.

Brandon Kulakowski averaged 16.7 points in three games. A model of consistency, he score 17, 18, and 17 points in three games. He currently leads the SUNYAC in scoring at 17.7 points per game.
