HOUGHTON, N.Y. --
Jordan Lockett had an excellent season-opening meet, finishing first in the 200m and second in the 60m dash at Houghton on Friday. In a field of 53 runners, Locket crossed the line in a time of 22.14 seconds in the 200. In the 60, he timed out at 6.91, two slots behind Penn State Behrend's Carter Tobin who had a time of 6.85 seconds.
Lockett wlso competed in the 4x200 relay team that placed third in a four-team field in a time of 1:37.01.
Stephen Hallberg had a second-place in a near photo-finish in the 5000m. He clocked in at 15:33.39, just .20 seconds off the pace.

Noah Snyder was third in the pole vault at 4.00m.

Cam Sample, who made it to NCAA's last year, started the season with a long jump of 7.06m, good enough for fifth place. Sample also placed 18th (23.35 seconds) in the 200m, and was part of the aforementioned 4x200 relay team with Lockett,
Jacob Constantino, and
Aiden VanAmburg.
Kaden Worthley 9:35.22 finished eighth in the 3000m run.
