GENEVA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's basketball team suffered a 77-63 loss at the hands on the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) in the consolation game of the Hobart Tournament on Saturday. Martin Garza led the Devils with 16 points and Stevie Williams added 12. Freshman Antonio Andrews added 11 off the bench. 

The Devils held a 32-31 lead at halftime, but a 15-2 run by USMMA to open the second half would be the Devils' downfall. They would not get any closer than eight points the rest of the way.

USMMA (2-2) was led by Jack Flannery with 20 points and Mason Lavergne with 13 points and six assists. 

The Devils (0-5) are off for the Thanksgiving Break. Next up is a trip to Plattsburgh and Potsdam to open SUNYAC play on Dec. 5th and 6th.
