BRADFORD, Pa. -- The Fredonia State men's swim team won three individual events, but fell 93-46 at Pitt-Bradford on Saturday. Landon Stanley won two freestyle events, and Aaron Burkell won the 100 backstroke.

"The first meet of the season is always a bit of a mixed bag as far as results are concerned," said head coach Bill Bradley. "But overall, my staff and I were happy with the team's energy today, as well as the improvement we can see in their skills already this season. It was a great way to start the season, and we can only continue learning and improving from here."

The team heads to Baldwin-Wallace in two weeks for a tri-meet with BW and Allegheny College.
