CORTLAND, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State volleyball team dropped a 3-0 contest at Cortland on Saturday. The loss moves the Devils to 0-2 in the SUNYAC and 5-12 overall.
The offense was led by
Kylie O'Brien with five kills.
Molly Cassidy had 10 assists. For the match, the Devils had a -.020 hitting percentage compared to .280 by Cortland.
Defensively, the Devils' had 11 digs from
Kailea Sullivan and 10 from
Maeve Musielak.
Cortland (13-4 / 2-0) was led by Kira Pirrera with 16 kills and Erica Arroyo with 10.
The Red Dragons captured the three sets by scores of 25-13, 25-19, and 25-9.
Fredonia State continues conference play on Wednesday with a trip to Buffalo State. Gametime is slated for 6 p.m.
