MORRISVILLE, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State volleyball team fell 3-1 at Morrisville State in Friday's SUNYAC-opening contest. The Mustangs claimed the win with scores of 25-20, 19-25, and 27-25, and 25-12 in the four sets.
The Devils were paced on offense by
Donnilynn Sheldon with 11 kills, while
Molly Cassidy had 13 assists and
Olivia Boswell had 11.
Defensively,
Kailea Sullivan has 12 digs and
Maeve Musielak had nine. The Devils had three blocks as a team.
Fredonia State drops its record to 5-11 overall, and 0-1 in the conference. Morrisville now stands at 9-6 and 1-0 in SUNYAC play.
The team travels to Cortland on Saturday for a 1 p.m. start.
