FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State hockey team turned in a dominating 6-2 win over Buffalo State on Tuesday.
Antoine St. Onge scored twice and had an assist, and
Luke Morris had a goal and two assists to power the offense. The Devils scored twice on power plays and added a short-handed score.
Anthony Thomas,
Ryan Bailey, and
Gavin Bloder also added scores.
The teams traded first period goals. The second period was all Fredonia State as they scored three times.
They opened the third with a pair of scores, making it a 6-1 game, before Buffalo State added a goal with 7:40 left to play. Connor Bizal and Ryan Messing scored for the Bengals, who drop to 11-7 overall and 5-2 in the SUNYAC.
Fredonia State (5-10 / 4-3 SUNYAC) will remain at home this weekend. They take on Morrisville and Cortland on Friday and Saturday.
