OSWEGO, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's basketball team made a late run and pulled within four points deep into the second half, but could not pull off the upset, falling 86-72, to Oswego.
The Devils went on a 19-5 run culminating with a pair of
Tyrese Fuller free throws at the 5:16 mark to make it a 69-65 game. However, the Lakers would rally back and preserve the win.
Brandon Kulakowski led the Devils with 22 points including four three-point buckets. Fuller and
Amir Ross each had 12 points, and Fuller pulled down a team-high six rebounds.
The Lakers (11-6,7-3 SUNYAC) were led by Cole Kattan with 21 points and Deacon Judd with 20 points and 13 rebounds.
The Devils (5-10,3-5 SUNYAC) travel to Morrisville on Tuesday.
