BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's hockey team dropped a 2-1 contest at Brockport on Tuesday evening.
Antoine St. Onge accounted for the Fredonia State score with his team-leading eighth goal of the year.
Charles-Anthony Barbeau played well between the pipes, giving up two scores and making 24 saves (.924 save percentage).
The teams skated to a scoreless first period. Goals were still hard to come by in the second, with Brockport finally breaking through with 1:14 left to play. Spencer Flansburg was assisted by his brother Schuyler and Ryan Brow.
With 3:10 left in the third, Brockport turned the tables on the Devils using a shorthanded goal to go up 2-0. Kaleb Miller scored with help from Connor McAleer.
St. Onge scored with 36 seconds left in the game to give the final score.
David Filak stopped 39 shots and gave up the one score for Brockport, who improves to 4-9-2.
Next up, the Devils (5-12) play the Chinese National Team on Friday in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada in an exhibition contest.
