ERIE, Pa. -- In the second day of action at the Penn State Behrend Invitational, the Fredonia State volleyball team dropped a morning match to Geneva, 3-1. In the afternoon match, the Devils fell 3-1 against Thiel.
Geneva won 27-25, 25-16, 23-25, and 25-18.
Kylie O'Brien paced the offense with 14 kills. Saha Zayatz and
Olivia Boswell each had three aces.
Defensively,
Erin Callahan had four blocks and
Kailea Sullivan had 13 digs.
Thiel won the sets by scores of 25-19, 21-25, 25-22, and 25-16.
Callahan had 11 kills and O'Brien had 10.
Molly Cassidy had 17 assists and
Olivia Boswell 13.
Kailea Sullivan led the way with 21 digs.
