WESTMINSTER, PA -- The Fredonia State Volleyball team split two games on Saturday at the Westminster Invitational. The Devils secured the 3-0 victory in their morning match over the College of Wooster but fell in the afternoon match, 3-0 to Westiminster.
In game one, the Devils won by a final of score of 25-18, 29-27, and 25-16.Â
Kylie O'Brien led the Devils offense with 11 kills withÂ
Erin Callahan adding five kills.Â
Olivia Boswell registered a team high 16 aces. Defensively for Fredonia State,
Sasha Zayatz finished the game with 12 digs.Â
In game two, the Devils lost by a score of 25-12, 25-21 and 25-23. O'Brien had 11 kills followed closely by
Maeve Musielak with eight kills. Boswell had 14 assists and
Molly Cassidy 13.Â
Kailea Sullivan led the way with 15 digs.
The Devils next return to Dods Hall for their home opener in a non-conference match up against SUNY Geneseo at 6:00 p.m.Â
