BRADFORD, Pa. -- The Fredonia State volleyball team made quick work of the Pitt-Bradford Panthers on Tuesday evening, sweeping three sets by scores of 25-16, 25-21, and 25- 17.
The Devils jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the first set and cruised to the win. The second set was more tightly contested. Bradford was trailing by one point, 19-18, before the Devils scored six of the final nine points for the set.
The Devils led 15-14 in the third set. A late rally saw them score the next six for a 21-14 lead and control of the set and match, and improving to 4-8 on the season.
Kylie O'Brien put in another stellar performance, collecting 12 kills.
Erin Callahan added nine, while
Molly Cassidy chipped in 20 assists.
Kailea Sullivan had two aces.
Defensively,
Hannah Lombardi had two blocks and Cassidy tied
Maeve Musielak with 10 digs.
