FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Things looked good for the Fredonia State women's lacrosse team early, as
Leah Kunisch continued her scoring spree with an early goal, but Nazareth ripped off the next six scores en route to a 13-6 victory at University Stadium on Wednesday.
Kunisch would score once more to give her 12 goals in the team's first three games.
Camryn Jacobs led the Devils with three scores, and
Audrey Brown added the other goal for the Devils.
Naz would take a 9-2 lead into the half. Both teams scored four times in the second half to give the final.
Ashleigh Manns made 12 saves in goal while giving up 13 scores. Nazareth's Allie Klestinec made 15 saves while surrendering six goals. Kate Metzler had five scores to pace the visitors.
The Devils are now 2-1, while Nazareth now stands at 1-3.
