POTSDAM, N.Y. -- Three third-period goals allowed spelled doom for the Fredonia State men's hockey team as they fell 4-2 at Potsdam. Tied 1-1, Potsdam scored 8:20 into the period, and again exactly a minute later to take the lead. An empty netter with four seconds left produced the final score.
The Devils got on the board first with the only goal of the first period.

Xavier Fortin.
A short-handed goal by Potsdam's Jack Loran at the midway point of the second tied the game at 1-1.
Potsdam scored the first two goals of the third -- one on a power play -- to go up 3-1.
David Sudbrink made it a one-goal game as the Fredonia State forward used an assist from
Garrison Gagnon to cut the lead to 3-2 before the Bears closed the game with the empty-net goal.
Logan Dyck made 23 saves and gave up three scores for the Devils. Lenny Perno made 33 saves for Potsdam, allowing two scores.
The Devils wrap up the regular season at Plattsburgh on Saturday.
