PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's hockey team fell in overtime on the road to Plattsburgh on Saturday. The Cardinals defeated Fredonia State by a final score of 2-1
To start the game, the Devils would strike first with
Ryan Bailey finding the back of the net off of a assist from
Antoine St. Onge &
Johnny Malandruccolo to go up 1-0 in the first period.
The Cardinals would respond midway through the third with Ryan Butler tying the game up at 1-1 off of an assist from Jack Ring & Jake Lanyi.
The game would eventually go into overtime and from there, Plattsburgh would win the game off of a goal from Adam Tretowicz assisted by Ryan Hogg.
Logan Dyck made 36 saves in goal, while giving up two scores for the Devils. Louis Finnegan made 27 stops for Plattsburgh and allowed only one goal.
This game concludes the season for Fredonia State hockey.
