FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's basketball team dropped its final game before the Christmas Break, falling 79-51, to Penn State Behrend on Saturday.
Brandon Kulakowski led the Devils with 14 points and five rebounds, and
David Jordan added 10 points.
Behrend would hold a slim lead for most of the first half. Following an
Aiden Proudfoot three pointer, the Devils pulled within four points, 25-21, with 4:35 showing on the clock.
Behrend closed the half on a 15-5 run, taking a 40-26 lead into the locker room.
The Lions picked things up the second half, outscoring Fredonia State 39-25 in the frame.
The Lions (5-4) were led by Matthew McDonough with 28 points, shooting 4-5 from three-point range. Sam Petrarca added 11 points and nine rebounds.
The Devils fall to 1-7 and are off until January.
