Brandon Kulakowski continued his hot shooting streak, nailing seven threes en route to a 29-point effort in an 89-82 win at Hartwick on Wednesday. Kulakowski added 11 rebounds, and Kai Wodds also had a double-double, with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Malik Jemison added 17 points and six assists.
The first half was back and forth with eight led changes and six ties.
The Devils took the lead into the second half and led the rest of the way. Their biggest lead of 13 came at the 17:36 mark.
Martin Garza's layup made it 57-46 in favor of the Devils. Garza would finish with 10 points.
The Devils hit 13 of 24 threes, and shot 48 percent from the floor for the game. They won the battle on the boards, 41-29.
Hartwick, coached by Fredonia State alum Brad Cooper, was led by Joey McLaurin with 17 points as all five starters scored in double digits.
The Devils (1-3) are at home on Friday vs. Pitt-Bradford. Gametime is slated for 7 p.m. in Dods Hall.
