BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Katie Sellers scored the game's only goal in the 62nd minute to give Fredonia State a 1-0 win over Buffalo State on Wednesday. Maddy Payne and Gabby Irwin were credited with assists.

Abby Szymkowiak made four saves in earning the shutout. Addy Williams had six saves and surrendered one goal for the Bengals (6-6 overall/3-1 SUNYAC).

Fredonia State improves to 7-5 and 2-2 in the conference. 

The Devils return home for a 1 p.m. game at University Stadium vs. Oswego on Saturday.
