NEW PALTZ, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 match at New Paltz on Saturday. Goals in the 41st and 54th minutes did in the Devils. Newtminder Abby Szymkowiak made 13 stops for Fredonia State.

The Hawks out shot the Devils, 30-7, and had 15 shots on goal to the Devils four. Maddie Franklin had the shutout for New Paltz.

The Devils fall to 6-5 overall and 1-2 in the SUNYAC.  New Paltz improves to 7-2-2 and 2-0-1.

The Devils travel to Buffalo State on Wednesday.
