FREDONIA, N.Y. --
Brian Taylor celebrated his Senior Day with a four-point performance, scoring the Devils' first goal and assisting on the other two as Fredonia State took a 3-1 victory at home over Potsdam.
Potsdam scored first in the 25th minute when Justin Mossy found the back of the net.
Taylor would tie the game in the 33rd minute with his SUNYAC-leading 12th goal.
The Devils struck quickly in the second half. Just 42 seconds in,
Vinnie DiBello scored from close range on an assist by Taylor.
Ryan Ameis scored an insurance goal in the 52nd minute as the Devils controlled most of the action from there on out.
Taylor now ranks second in the SUNYAC with 30 points.
Jack Phelan made two saves in goal for the Devils. Lucas Schiel made five saves for the Bears' (5-7-3 / 1-5-1 SUNYAC) .
