NEW PALTZ, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's volleyball team dropped three-straight sets at New Paltz on Saturday, 25-18, 25-17, 25-21. The loss drops the Devils to 2-2 in the SUNYAC and 9-13 overall.
Kylie O'Brien and
Maeve Musielak led the offense with eight kills apiece.
Molly Cassidy had team bests of 15 assists and two aces.
Defensively,
Erin Callahan had four blocks, and
Kailea Sullivan had 14 digs
New Paltz improves to 2-1 in the conference and 9-9 overall.
The Devils play host to Buffalo State next Saturday. Saturday evening, the 2008 volleyball team that made it all the way to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament will be honored at the athletic department's Hall of Fame induction ceremonies.
