Juan Matias scored the Fredonia State men's soccer team's only goal in a 6-1 loss at Oswego on Saturday. It was his fourth of the year.
Matias scored in the 78th minute to make it a 4-1 game at the time.
Thomas McDonald made eight saves for the Devils, who fell to 1-4 in the conference and 6-7-2 overall.
Oswego used six different goal scorers, and scored three goals in the first half and three in the second, to improve to 7-2-3 overall and 2-2 in the SUNYAC.
The Devils travel to Cortland on Wednesday.
