ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's volleyball team improved its SUNYAC record to 2-1 with 3-1 win over Oneonta on Friday. The Devils cruised to a first-set 25-12 victory before stumbling in the second set, 26-24. They would sweep the final two sets, 25-20 and 25-23 to take the victory.
Three Devils reached double digits in kills, with
Kylie O'Brien leading the charge with 10.
Maeve Musielak had 11 kills and
Erin Callahan had 10.
Molly Cassidy had 24 assists, and
Olivia Boswell had 19. Musielak and Cassidy had three aces apiece, and Musielak had 21 digs.
Overall, Fredonia State improves to 9-12. They travel to New Paltz for a 1 p.m. start on Saturday.
