RESULTS
FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's swim team took on local opponent Jamestown Community College in a midweek matinee on Thursday. Patrick McCrone turned in firsts in a pair of individual events, as well as earning a first with his relay squad.

Here's a look at the top finishers:
Patrick McCrone - 1st - 200 IM - 2:03.58
Patrick McCrone - 1st - 100 back stroke - 55.56
Noah Wisniewski - 1st - 200 free - 1:58.29
Aaron Burkett - 1st - 1,000 free - 12:14.68
McCrone, Winiewski, Burkett, and Alex Wright - 1st - 200 free relay - 1:36.66

"It was another great showing for our team," said head coach Bill Bradley. "We're putting up a lot of really great times, and everything we're seeing now in competition bodes well for how we'll perform once we've tapered in a few weeks. For the men, Patrick McCrone was the standout, sweeping his events handily. Noah Wisniewski also had some great swims, including a win in the 200 free and a very strong 100 free that got him a second-place finish. Alex Wright also had two PRs."

The event featured on 13 events for each of the men's and women's side. The Devil head to Cortland on Saturday to take on the Red Dragons.
