"Today we did not play well enough defensively to win a SUNYAC game," said head coach
P.J. Gondek. "We gifted them their first goal and even after we were able to tie it, we gave them another one that could have been prevented. We will need to figure things out quickly as we have a nationally ranked opponent in Cortland coming to town Saturday."
The Devils suffer their first loss of the season and now stand at 4-1-3. Geneseo improves to 5-2-1.
The Devils play host to Cortland on Saturday. Gametime is slated for 1 p.m. at University Stadium
