MEADVILLE, PA -- The Fredonia State track and field team sent 10 men to Allegheny College on Thursday in hopes of improving their times in a last-chance meet.
Kyle Campbell competed in the 3000m steeplechase, turning in a time of 10:04.42. He finished first of two competitors.Â
Fredonia State was the only 4x100 relay team competing, finishing in 42.98.
Jacob Winn,
Cameron Sample,
Nick Marsowicz, and
Nick Abdo made up the quartet.
Sam Cottrell finished first of 13 runners in the 1500m in a time of 1:58.34. It was a personal best for Cottrell.
Vincent Mendez was fifth in 2:02.35
Josh Walters finished fifth of 11 runners in the 400m in a time of 50.61. Marsowicz was sixth in 51.01.
In the 200m, Winn finished ninth in 23.24.

Sample competed in a pair of individual events. In the triple jump he cleared 12.45m (40'10 1/4''). In the long jump, he cleared 6.27m (20' 7'').
Ethan Pocock was eighth in the pole vault at 3.78m (12'4 3/4'').
Alastair Sweeney was unable to clear his initial height of 3.63m.
The All Atlantic Regional Track and Field Meet will take place on May 17-18.Â
