FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Senior Cam Sample will be heading south this weekend to participate in the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship Meet in Birmingham, Alabama. Sample is currently ranked second in all of Division III in the long jump. Last spring, he finished fourth overall at the NCAA Outdoor Meet.

Sample's best jump this season is 7.66m (25' 1.75") which came on Feb. 27th at the SUNYAC Championship Meet where he was crowned the conference champion. He trails only Joshua Rivers of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Rivers won the NCAA Outdoor Championship last spring.

The meet will be held in Birmingham on March 13th and 14th.
