OSWEGO, N.Y. -- Reigning SUNYAC Player of the Week, Katie Sellers, scored both goals as the Fredonia State women's soccer team played to a 2-2 tie at Oswego on Wednesday. Sellers has now scored seven goals in the past three conference games.

She staked the Devils to a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute with an assist from Bri Grazen. 

The lead held up until Luigina Serrao tied the game 4:08 into the second half. The Lakers would take a 2-1 lead in th 71st minute when Jackie Marquadt scored.

Things did not look good for the Devils until Sellers came through with her heroics with 4:24 on the clock. Gabby Irwin assisted on the score.

Fredonia State freshman goalie Abby Szymkowiak made eight saves in her first collegiate start. Her counterpart, Perri Anderson, made two saves.

Oswego outshot the Devils, 10-4, and had a 6-2 edge in corner kicks.

The Devils are now 5-4-3 overall and 2-2-1 in the SUNYAC. Oswego is 4-2-4 and 1-1-2.

The Devils travel to Plattsburgh on Saturday.
