CORTLAND, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's basketball team fell 87-62 at Cortland on Friday. The Devil offense was paced by AJ Knight with 17 points, and Aaron Collins with 13. Alon Haimovitz led the team with six rebounds.

Cortland took control early, scoring the game's first 14 points. Alon Kremerman got the Devils on the board with a layup five minutes into the game. By the half, Cortland opened up a 47-27 lead.

The Red Dragons would outscore Fredonia State 40-35 in the second half. 

Cortland finished the game with a one-rebound advantage, 38-37. Aaron Costen and Austin Grunder led them with 25 points apiece. Grunder added seven assists, and Costen grabbed nine boards.

The Devils travel to Brockport for a Saturday 4 p.m. game.
