ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's basketball team held a 13-point lead with eight minutes to play, but were outscored 22-2 down the stretch, falling to Oneonta, 82-75.
Aaron Collins scored 25 points,
AJ Knight had 15, and
Alon Haimovitz added 10 points.
The Devils final lead was with 75-74 with 1:30 on the clock. Oneonta converted a pair of free throws to take the lead, and scored the next six points to close out the game.
Collins finished the game 5-7 from three-point range. As a team, the Devils shot 50 percent from the floor.
Fredonia State takes on New Paltz Saturday at 4 p.m.
